Mark provides essential media relations support and research, writes press releases, editorial pitches and position papers, and helps develop communication strategies and policy impacts for clients.

Prior to joining Scoville, Prentice was at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs, a Berlin-based think tank, where he researched and wrote on key aspects of U.S. climate policy and the global financial crisis. Prior to that, Mark interned at Bryant Christie Inc., an international trade and development firm and was a Research Assistant in the Department of History at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. Mark graduated magna cum laude from Whitman College and completed post-graduate work in politics at the Freie Universität Berlin.

A proud Puget Sound-area native, Mark is an avid biker and runner as well as a committed and passionate Seattle sports fan. In fact, he still remembers where he was when Edgar Martinez hit “The Double.”
