Nicole Fallat
Director
Nicole’s 10 years of PR experience is right at home working for Scoville’s one-of-a-kind clients. With a background in sustainable business, economics, and nonprofit communications, she’s led corporate and consumer PR campaigns for REI, Starbucks and Washington State’s leading environmental policy coalition. From launching one of the first carbon-neutral travel programs, to managing the Starbucks Global Responsibility Report, she firmly believes that a company’s commitment to people, profit and the planet are what separates them from the pack. Her goal is to help our clients share their stories as far, loud and clear as possible.
A Seattle native, Nicole originally fled the Emerald City for the Big Apple, where she cut her teeth doing PR for the New York Philharmonic. After a few years, she traded the concrete jungle for the Cascade Mountains, and came home to spend more time outdoors. Since being back, she received her Certificate in Sustainable Business from Bainbridge Graduate Institute and is working toward her LEED Green Associate accreditation.
Away from the office, Nicole is on the board of Undriving.org, a Seattle-area nonprofit that issues “Undrivers Licenses,” encouraging reduced use of single-occupancy vehicles. You can also find her sawing away on her fiddle in The Swearengens alt-country band, ogling the snow-capped mountains waiting for ski season, and running through Discovery Park after her dog. She lives aboard a houseboat on Lake Union and invites all cleantech innovators to develop a micro-scale wave power generator so that she can unplug from shore power.
